College Grounds

The Numurkah College and  Community are very proud of the beautiful grounds and facilities available at the school. These grounds have developed over the life of the school with the dedication of parents, students and staff. Countless hours have been spent developing special gardens where student extension programs and multipurpose classrooms can run.

Student Art Work

At Numurkah Secondary College through the study of Art students discover their own creativity as they learn about artists, talk about art, and explore art from different times and cultures.  We recognize that to be truly well educated one must not only learn to appreciate the arts, but must have rich opportunities to actively participate in creative work. The arts curriculum encompasses a language that most people speak, cutting through individual differences in culture, educational background, and ability. By learning through the arts our students achieve greater academic achievement and higher test scores. We are honoured to teach and collaborate with many highly creative and talented students.

Student Technology Projects

At Numurkah Secondary College, our Technology curriculum effectively taps into student's creativity, desire for group collaboration, and individual gifts and talents. With a well-rounded faculty, students are not confined to the teachings of one subject within the boundaries of a single classroom. The Technology education provided encompasses many subjects within the one domain, including Wood and Metal work, Food Technology and Textiles. There is never a dull moment as the ever-present learning curve challenges both student and teacher. The high quality and ingenuity of students work is impressive and a constant source of pride within the school community.
