Polish Days
As a Beacon School, we were very fortunate to host twodays of the Beacon Polish program for our Year 10 cohorton Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th of March.The program was held at the Telegraph hotel with thelocal venue providing an excellent setting for students toengage in professional and personal development. Thecourtyard area provided a comfortable and picturesquespace for workshops, whilst the hotel’s dining room providedan opportunity for students and local business peopleto enjoy a formal lunch, where students were able toengage in conversation with guests. The program focussedon building within our students: confidence, transferrableteam and leadership skills, etiquette, personalgrooming, hygiene and interview techniques.
