2012 Yr12 Students Get a Head Start at NSC

This week, 28/11 to 02/12, Yr11 students have participated in the colleges VCE/VCAL Head Start Program. This program gives students a competitive advantage in Yr12 by teaching the core concepts early, so they can go on and achieve strong results. 

The colleges program has been specifically developed to be comprehensive and detailed, through which students develop a strong and practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4, a greater understanding of all SAC requirements, positive study habits, improved time management skills and greater self-confidence heading into their final year of secondary education. Students throughout the week have been highly engaged within their selected Year 12 subjects, enjoying the opportunity to sample Yr12 life and finally getting access the Senior Study Centre! Students will come into 2012 one step ahead, being able to utilise the summer break in order to fully apply themselves to their studies. We look forward to witnessing their  future successes.
